Well, the Daily Doodle is up for today and these last few have been really spiffy. 5 of the last week's have been brand new artwork, so don't think I'm going to rely on my old, shitty drawings forever. As for the websites, I have a few announcements.
First off, Bric Mitchell, of the Dark Jester Network, and I have decided that due to the popularity of our two promo videos for the DJN launch, we will be writing and filming an on-going series about the "two room-mates." The characters of course will be named and the tentative title for the series itself is "Two Guys in an Apartment." We're hard at work writing scripts for the series and I'll update you all when I have more info.
Secondly, let's talk numbers. This month has been, by far, the most successful month in the history of The Josh Effect. In just this one month, we'll have had 100,000 hits. How does that compare? The total hits for the website just surpassed 400,000 this morning. That means that in this one month, we earned 25% of our total hit count. That's absolutely insane. To be real honest, I'm not even sure where the surge of new traffic is coming from. Bric says it's the Daily Doodle, but hey: whatever it is, I couldn't be happier.
And finally, the adspace. All these annoying ass empty ad slots are pissing me off. I'm not entirely sure how much the ads affect the traffic coming to the website, but I'm about to take them off to find out. It's not like I'm making bank-ass profit from them anyhow. We'll be using April as a test month for the ad removal. If traffic declines (rapidly) then they'll go back up, but as of this moment, I'm fucking sick of them.
Anyway, that's all for that. Be sure to drop by the daily doodle and be on the lookout for some new Josh TV soon. I have some ideas I need to get filmed. Peace.
