The Josh Movie: Now Filming.

That's right. It's official. Yes, it's real. No, it's not a joke. The Josh Movie is officially in production. I know the updates lately have been lack-luster and few, but me and the Josh Effect crew have been hard at work in the pre-production process for TJM. We've already began filming and will continue to film until August. Yes, my tapeworms, it's a long wait... but trust me: it'll be worth it. Now to answer a few questions about the film.

What can I expect to see in TJM?
The movie will be alot like it's video-blog origins. Me doing stupid shit. Don't get me wrong, I'm not setting out here to make Jackass. That's not my vision. Besides, they get hurt alot, and I'm too chicken-shit to lay myself on the line like that. In TJM we'll be taking the pranks that me and my friends pull on each other and others and placing them on film, as well as finally filming ideas we've had in our heads for years. Expect to see your typical Josh TV randomness, as well as well thought out executions of some really bad ideas (one of which involves balloons, but you'll see that much later). Throw in a couple of bits I've written and that's pretty much it. In a nutshell: Random shit, funny shit, and stupid shit.

Who will be in TJM?
Well, I, Josh, of course will be directing . Daniel King, as always, is my director of photography with Colton Griffin on as a producer. Other than that we have Corey Tyer on staff as a writer/cast member. Other than that, various cast members will be brought in as production moves onward. I'm talking to friends of mine, such as Bric Mitchell and Johnny Ray Davis (who worked with me on the mini-series Doomed). Other than that, nothing has been confirmed.

When will TJM be available to the public and how?
TJM
will be a DVD. It will be available to purchase online for an undetermined price. I really know nothing about producing a DVD, so info about it's availability as of right now is minimal. All I know is filming ends in August and editing could take months, as I'm probably going to be editing it myself. Expect a release around November at the earliest and January at the latest.

What will the DVD feature?
The DVD (if we can) will have tons of extra features. Deleted scenes and blooper reels definitely (seeing as we already have some great footage that I won't edit into the final cut). The crew and I are also looking forward to providing an audio commentary track. I'm also thinking of adding all of my currently available Josh TV footage, therefore you can enjoy those on a bigger screen, but that's undetermined at this point.
